Appointments
Routine appointments
You can either book an appointment by coming in to the surgery and seeing the receptionist, phoning 01634 231074 or using our online booking service. Appointments are booked up to 4 weeks in advance. You are also able to book for HUB appointments at Rainham, Lordswood and Hoo Healthy Living Centres via reception. These include evening and weekend appointments.
Urgent Appointments
If you need to see a Doctor urgently the same day please contact the reception desk at 8.30 am for morning surgery and at 3 pm for evening surgery.
Cancelling your appointment
It is the patient’s responsibility to attend appointments on time and to arrive at the time allocated or before and to cancel appointments in good times. Patients missing more than 2 appointments without reason may be removed from the list.
Home Visits
Home visits are at the discretion of the doctor. Please do not ask the doctor to call unless the patient is genuinely too ill to come to the surgery. Home visits are time consuming; if you can, try to come to the surgery where there are better facilities for examination and treatment than in the home. When a home visit is genuinely necessary, please try to request the visit before 10.30 am. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible as this helps the doctor to plan their visits.
